In the K7MF engine, the rocker shaft (sometimes called the rocker arm shaft) is a straight metal bar that runs across the top of the cylinder head. It serves as the pivot/fulcrum support for the rocker arms — the parts that actually open and close the engine’s valves.
It holds multiple rocker arms in place.
Rocker arms are mounted on it so they can pivot up and down smoothly.
The shaft itself doesn’t move — the rocker arms swing on it as the engine runs.
