What it is:
The oil pump is the engine’s mechanical pump responsible for circulating engine oil under pressure to lubricate bearings, camshaft, crankshaft, timing components and other moving parts. On the NP200 1.6 L Petrol (engine code K7MF / K7M), the oil pump is driven by the timing chain and uses a sprocket/gear with 22 teeth on its drive to mesh with the chain.
This 22‑tooth version is distinct from the variant with 24 teeth and is specific to certain NP200/K7M models — always check your engine timing cover and sprocket before ordering.
